Toddler words of wisdom by Adi

Adi has a due.
Adi came up to me as we were collecting items for Missionettes and told me she had a due. Absolutely confused I asked her what it was, all she said was "I have a due". Still confused I asked her to show me her due. She came into the living room with a penny and said "here is my due". I started laughing because: if two coins is dues then one coin must be a due. kinda funny how a 3 year olds brain works.

Who can tie shoes.
One night Adi wanted her shoes on. She can not tie her own shoes so somebody else has to tie them. Paul and I were asking her who all could help her with this task. "Can mommy help"? We asked her. "yah" she replied. "Can daddy help you"? "yah" she replied again. We went through a list of people that could help her, and she answered yah to them all. Then we asked her if Toby (our dog) could help her. Pausing for a second she replied "noooooooooo, he doesn't have any hands, he only has feet. :)
